Lee Ki-heung, chairman of the Korea Sports Council, refuted the allegations of misconduct announced by the Office for Government Policy Coordination, saying that even 1% could not agree.

After the IOC event in Lausanne, Switzerland, Chairman Lee met with reporters at the arrival hall of Incheon International Airport and actively explained for more than 20 minutes the allegations, including fraudulent hiring, bribery, embezzlement, and breach of trust.

In particular, regarding the announcement by the Office of Government Policy Coordination that he hired his daughter's friend as the training planning officer for Jincheon National Training Center, he denied that he recommended an acquaintance at all, saying that he could not select a national team member for the position of a "private secretary" who had to stay and board for 2 million won a month.

When asked whether he would seek a third term, Lee said he would discuss it with the members and make a decision soon.
