In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea has decided to push for amendments to the Commercial Act, which includes the introduction of directors' duty to be faithful to shareholders.

The Democratic Party said at a general meeting of lawmakers that it delegated the authority to revise some provisions to the leadership due to disagreements in detail, and added additional conditions to reflect self-reliance revisions.

The Democratic Party also adopted an amendment to the Criminal Procedure Act, which calls for suspending the statute of limitations if a public official in charge of investigation or prosecution is involved in a crime.

At the same time, the party also decided on a special law that abolishes the statute of limitations or the extinctive prescription of the right to claim damages or recognizes special cases when military commanders commit harsh acts against civilians.
