Joo Jin-woo, chairman of the People's Power Legal Advisory Committee, called for the Democratic Party to clarify its position whether it opposes the live broadcast of the first trial of the perjury teacher case on the 25th.

Chairman Joo issued a statement, saying, "Where was Lee when Democratic Party floor leader Park Chan-dae, legal committee chairman Park Kyun-taek and Supreme Council member Jeon Hyun-hee actively opposed live broadcasting?"

He then stressed that representative Lee asked why he opposed the live broadcast that the people wanted on the basis of human rights.

He added that he will take legal action against the Democratic Party of Korea's accusation of innocence, saying, "I hope that representative Lee respects even if he is sentenced to the first trial."
