Power outages in parts of Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province..."Substation equipment issue"

Power outages occurred in some areas, including Ssangyong-dong and Dujeong-dong, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, at around 8:10 p.m. today (14th).

Korea Electric Power Corp. said the supply of electricity was cut off due to an abnormality in the facility at the Buldang substation, which supplies electricity to the Cheonan area, and the supply resumed within a minute after checking for an abnormality in the facility.

However, some apartment complexes were found to have blacked out for more than 20 minutes due to delays in re-operation of their own facilities.
