On the 14th, IST Entertainment, the agency of THE BOYZ, said on its official fan cafe that Sunwoo and a staff member were assaulted by an illegitimate fan, and a police investigation is currently underway.

"On the 9th, Sunwoo, a member of THE BOYZ, got out of the elevator going into his accommodation after finishing his schedule and was about to open the front door when an illegitimate daughter who was hiding on the emergency stairs of the floor approached him," the agency said. "Sunwoo, who felt threatened by the illegality, immediately reported it to our staff and caught the illegality who invaded the house with our staff and handed it over to the police."

"I was beaten several times while holding on to the illegitimate daughter who was trying to run away, and the person was arrested as a current offender for house invasion and assault, and police investigation is currently underway," he said. "Sunwoo and our staff visited a nearby hospital immediately after the accident for examination and treatment, and are continuously checking their condition and taking necessary measures."

The agency also said that a location tracker was attached to an artist vehicle that was recently parked in front of IST Entertainment's office building, and another vehicle tire was intentionally damaged by another person.

He said, "Both incidents recognized the fact immediately after the occurrence, and additional damage could be prevented, and CCTV was secured and police reports were completed."

Finally, he emphasized, "These acts are clear illegal acts that cause mental and material damage to artists and staff," adding, "We are responding to illegal acts, including invasion of privacy, with zero tolerance, and we will take clear legal action accordingly."
