Gyeonggi-do Province has created a "one-person household housing safety checklist" to prevent damage to jeonse and monthly rent fraud of single-person households and to help them inspect real-life safety.

The single-person household checklist consists of "confirmations for safe jeonse and monthly rent contracts," "confirmations for safe residential life," and "major support projects for single-person households."

In the case of confirmation of the lease/monthly lease contract, the contents of mandatory inspection by period are divided into pre-contract (whether a registered real estate agent is present, market price, senior rights relationship, building ledger, etc.), contract date (lessor status, lessor tax arrears, housing rental contract report and fixed date, etc.), balance payment date (whether the certificate of all registered matters has changed, etc.), and during the contract period (subscription of lease deposit return guarantee, etc.).

The confirmation for a safe residential life mainly included safety guidelines that can be used in real life, such as safety inspection of residential areas after moving, security of windows and pipes, and removal of personal information when discharging garbage.

In addition, it also includes information on single-person household support projects in Gyeonggi-do, such as the safety charter project, the safe accompanying of single-person household hospitals, and financial safety education for single-person households.

The single-person household residential safety checklist is produced in the form of a web leaflet and can be downloaded and utilized from the Gyeonggi-do single-person household portal archives.
