Actress Eva Longoria, famous for the popular American drama Housewives in Crisis, expressed her disappointment at the results of the U.S. presidential election and said she decided to leave the U.S. and live abroad for the time being.

"I escaped (the U.S.) and went somewhere, but most Americans aren't that lucky," he said, adding, "They're going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and I feel worried and sad thinking about them."

He also warned the Democratic leadership early on that Latino voters in the United States are increasingly vulnerable to conservative appeals due to economic problems, he said. "I've been shouting that we shouldn't take Latino (Democratic) votes for granted. We have to win and win this vote at every election," he stressed.

Longoria is from Texas, and his family has lived in Texas for nine generations.
