Citing local sources, Reuters said Hochstein will visit the Lebanese capital Beirut on 19th local time for talks on the topic of a ceasefire.
Lebanon's local media reported on Hochstein's visit, saying it was considering a draft ceasefire deal received from the U.S. last week.
At the end of last month, Hochstein visited Lebanon and Israel in succession to mediate ceasefire discussions.
As U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has repeatedly called for a swift end to the Middle East war, some predict that the cease-fire negotiations, which have not made progress, may be different.
