Postponement of the railroad union until the way home from work in the Seoul metropolitan area

Some subway trains in the Seoul metropolitan area have been delayed until work due to the railroad union's departure that began today (18th).

Korail said that the Seohae Line connecting the metropolitan subway lines 1, 3, and 4, Suin-Bundang Line, and Ilsan-Ansan Line is being delayed.

According to the report, 380 out of 1,610 trains in the Seoul metropolitan area were delayed by more than 10 minutes, and 440 trains were delayed by more than 20 minutes.

Korail also said that some trains on Line 1 and Gyeongui Central Line have been delayed for about 10 minutes.

Korail said regular trains such as KTX and Saemaeul are all operating normally without a hitch.

The railway union began to leave the job today, demanding the addition of insufficient personnel, the shift of work to two shifts in four groups, and a 2.5% increase in basic salary.
