In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea has designated Kim Tae-yeol, director of the Future Korea Research Institute, a polling company known to have been practically operated by Myung Tae-kyun, who is suspected of intervening in the ruling party's nomination and manipulating public opinion, as a target for public interest reporters.

The Democratic Party's Corruption and Public Interest Reporters Rights Protection Committee issued a press release and said it made the decision at a meeting yesterday (18th).

Director Kim is one of the people who raised the suspicion of intervening in the nomination, and is under prosecution investigation for allegedly donating political funds by conducting a poll on the presidential candidate at the time of the 2022 Yoon Suk Yeol without receiving any expenses.

Earlier, the Democratic Party of Korea designated Kang Hye-kyung, who served as vice president of the Future Korea Research Institute, and Shin Yong-han, a former chair professor at Seowon University, who revealed that candidate Yoon's camp had a strategic meeting with Myung Tae-kyun's non-publicized opinion poll report on the day of the presidential election.
