Unification Minister Kim Young-ho is charged with manipulating YouTubers' answers at the hearing.

The Seongnam branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office handed over A, the producer of the YouTube channel "Short News," to trial on charges of defaming Minister Kim by manipulating a video of the Unification Minister Kim Young-ho's confirmation hearing.

Mr. A is accused of manipulating and editing the video as if he said, "I can't tell you," even though Minister Kim replied, "Our territory is right," at a confirmation hearing held in July last year.

The video has been circulating on YouTube and TikTok for six months, with malicious comments about Minister Kim, and it was investigated that A used the video to raise donations.

In August last year, he filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, saying that the power of the people confirmed the possibility of a deliberate and systematic crime, but the prosecution explained that it appears that A committed the crime alone for fun and profit.
