The Ministry of Science and ICT said it will hold relay meetings six times over the next two weeks for 80 major academic societies among academic organizations registered with the Korea Federation of Science and Technology Organizations.
The meeting will be held in a way that the attending conferences deliver the expectations and suggestions of the research and development site and freely ask and discuss for 100 minutes with Minister Yoo Sang-im.
At the first meeting, Yoo Sang-im, Minister of Science and ICT, asked each society to propose leading research and development tasks for each field, participate in the project planning and evaluation process, and cooperate in discovering and recommending global-level domestic and foreign researchers.
The Ministry of Science and ICT said it will review the proposal and reflect it in policy and R&D projects and improve the system away from the field.
