Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do, has decided to set all areas of Geojin-eup and Hyeonnae-myeon as "dangerous zones" to prevent the spread of leaflets to North Korea.

Goseong-gun said it will announce the related contents as early as today (19th) to protect the county residents as the families of the abductees heralded the distribution of leaflets on land.

As a result, distributing leaflets to North Korea in "dangerous zones" is completely prohibited, and violations of this could result in up to a year in prison or a fine of up to 10 million won.

Goseong-gun plans to thoroughly crack down on the distribution of leaflets to North Korea in consultation with the police.
