Yes, the accident happened around 3:20 p.m. today.

It's Hyundai Motor's 4th plant in Yangjeong-dong, Ulsan.

Three researchers were found collapsed in the vehicle performance test space in the Electrical Quality Project Department.

These are two Hyundai researchers in their 3s and 40s and one from a partner company in their 20s.

At that time, we were testing vehicle driving performance in an enclosed experimental space with a size that can fit one car.

When there were no employees who had to come out after finishing the experiment at around 12:50 p.m., another employee entered the laboratory at around 3 p.m. to check the accident.

The accident is believed to have occurred because engine exhaust was not discharged to the outside world.Fire authorities who were dispatched after receiving a report of

moved the fallen unconscious to the hospital, but sadly all died.

Hyundai Motor said it will quickly identify the cause of the accident and take necessary measures.

He then added that he will do his best to come up with measures to prevent the same accident from happening again.

Hyundai Motor's Ulsan plant is subject to the Serious Accident Punishment Act.

Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident with the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
