Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, who was indicted on suspicion of misappropriation of corporate cards during his time as governor of Gyeonggi Province, criticized the prosecution's position as the same as the claims made by Brazilian prosecutors in the past by prosecuting former President Lula.

CEO Lee told reporters that the prosecution's position is to prosecute corporate cards or budget execution used by front-line departments because it is highly likely that the governor knew about them.

He then pointed out that although there is no evidence, it is the prosecution's position to prosecute, and that it is the same as the Brazilian prosecution's position that said, "The lack of evidence may be due to concealment."
