The late Kim Min-ki, a symbol of Daehakro culture, was selected as the "73rd Seoul Culture Award winner."

The Seoul Metropolitan Government selected 12 winners in nine fields, including former CEO Kim, Lee Seung-ha, a professor of creative arts at Chung-Ang University, and Jeong Seung-ho, a professor of performance at Seoul National University of the Arts.

Since its establishment in 1948, the Seoul Culture Award has been given every year except during the Korean War, and a total of 6,700 people participated in this year's first online civic vote.
