At around 6:50 am today (22nd), a nine-ton fishing boat hit a seashore rock while entering the sea east of Ando, Nam-myeon, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do.
Two crew members and 16 fishing passengers on the fishing boat were all rescued by nearby fishing boats.
However, seven passengers were injured in the impact of the accident and taken to a hospital, and the engine room was flooded.
The maritime police are investigating the exact cause of the accident against the crew and passengers.
