The forum, which marks its fourth anniversary this year, is an event to discuss the sustainability of a World Heritage City, with major programs including presentations of cases of preservation and management of fortresses in the Seoul metropolitan area and panel discussions on the theme of "World Heritage with the region."
In addition, lectures on "World Heritage and Modern Architecture" by Kim Kwang-hyun, an honorary professor of architecture at Seoul National University, and "Architecture Created by Climate, Society Created by Architecture" by Yoo Hyun-joon are also scheduled.
In particular, on the 30th, the Heritage Tour will be held to visit Yeonmudae, Hwaseomun, and Ilwol Arboretum by bus, and the Saebit Tour will be held to tour modern buildings such as Saebit Civil Service Office and Yeongheung Arboretum.
Each tour can be pre-applied free of charge on the Suwon Convention Center website.
