People's Power drew the line that some politicians were not considering the possibility of drawing up an extra budget early next year, saying there was no request from the government for consultation.

Kim Sang-hoon, chairman of the policy committee, issued a statement, saying that the extra budget will be organized in cases where major changes such as large-scale disasters, economic downturns, and mass unemployment have occurred or are likely to occur.

He then pointed out that it is not appropriate to discuss the possibility of an extra budget at a time when the plenary session has not been deliberated.

The government and the ruling party then said they will do their best to revitalize the domestic economy, saying they aim to reflect the budget for supporting self-employed people, small and medium-sized venture companies, and customized support budgets for promoting local SOC and private consumption.
