Former lawmaker Tae Young-ho's son is charged with taking drugs such as hemp.

The son of Tae Young-ho, secretary-general of the Advisory Council for Democratic Peace and Unification, who served as the 21st member of the National Assembly, was charged with drug use and booked by the police.

The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul said today (22nd) that it has taken over the case from the Jeju Police Agency, where a complaint against his son Tae was filed, and launched an investigation.The

complaint reportedly states that Tae took drugs such as hemp in Thailand in September.

Tae is also under police investigation for allegedly committing virtual currency investment fraud online in September.
