KOSPI recovered to 2,500 level in 9 days...KOSDAQ Down

The KOSPI recovered to the 2,500-point level in nine days on net buying by foreigners and institutions.

On the stock market, the KOSPI rose 0.83 percent to close at 2,501.24.

SK hynix rose 4.68 percent, while Samsung Electronics lost 0.71 percent, helped by gains in Nvidia shares on the New York Stock Exchange.

Doosan-related stocks rose all at once on the news that the proposal to separate Doosan Bobcat from Doosan Energy and incorporate it into Doosan Robotics was approved by financial authorities.

The KOSDAQ index closed 0.54% lower at 677.01.
