Police have launched an additional forced investigation into allegations that key trade secrets of LS Cable & System have been leaked to competitors.
The Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency's Industrial Technology and Security Investigation Unit raided the factory in Dangjin, South Chungcheong Province, for the third time today (22nd).
Police are investigating after finding that an architectural designer who was in charge of building LS Cable's cable plant in the past diverted LS Cable's trade secret, high voltage submarine cable technology, to its rival Korea Cable.
The police previously booked officials from Daehan Electric Wire and the building design company on charges of violating the Unfair Competition Prevention Act.
