"It's a violation of freedom of expression to block the spread of anti-North Korean leaflets"...Commission of Human Rights Commission of Korea

Choi Sung-ryong, the head of the family group of abductees who withdrew the spraying of leaflets against North Korea last month after resistance from residents in the border area, filed a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission of Korea today (22nd).

Choi claimed that he had gone through the normal assembly reporting process, but that the governor of Gyeonggi-do, Paju, and Goseong-gun County had blocked the spraying, violating his freedom of expression.

At the same time, the Human Rights Commission demanded that it investigate this and send a newsletter on North Korea.

Choi said in a call with YTN that he plans to try again to distribute leaflets soon.
