The Seoul Administrative Court ruled that the government's corrective order and suspension of subsidies were justified in connection with the death of a teenager who fell from the building while moving around the hospital.

The court said the refusal to accept emergency patients even though they had facilities and manpower, which resulted in death, is highly likely to be criticized.

In March last year, a teenage A was rushed to a nearby emergency room in Daegu due to a crash in a building, but died while traveling to hospitals without receiving proper treatment.

Since then, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has ordered four places, including Daegu Catholic University Hospital, to suspend the payment of subsidies, and Sunmok Academy, a school that operates Daegu Catholic University Hospital, filed a lawsuit to cancel the disposition.
