At the party level, the results of a full investigation into the posts in question were released, but when pro-Yoon-gye repeatedly pressed Han for an explanation, the close circles protested, saying, "Killing Han Dong-hoon."

Suspicion of the so-called "party member bulletin board" in which representative Han Dong-hoon and his family posted messages of raw slander against President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife on an anonymous bulletin board.

Last week, the party's legal advisory committee looked at all 1,068 posts in the name of Han and his family, and the party's leadership found that the problematic posts were 12 under the name of Han Dong-hoon, the same name.

The party leadership pointed out that even that is difficult to legally take issue with, and that investigation into anonymous bulletin boards could undermine freedom of expression.

Rep. Kim Eun-hye, a former senior presidential secretary for public relations at the presidential office, said, "Representative Han is avoiding easy confirmation," and asked, "Is that why the family wrote it or not?"

Former Supreme Council member Jang Ye-chan also pointed out, "Unlike when criticizing others, what logic is it that one cannot check one's family problems unless they are illegal?"
