Recently, a series of indoor shoe thefts occurred at a kindergarten in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, and local police installed three CCTV cameras at the scene, and a weasel biting the indoor shoes was caught on video.
On the 11th, the weasel entered the kindergarten to steal the slippers again.was captured on CCTV footage.
As 21 pairs of shoes in the kindergarten shoe cabinet disappeared over the course of several days, teachers and parents worried that a madman with a shoe fetish might be responsible.
Weasels are known for hiding things, and people who keep them as pets also give them toys so that they can hide their shoes.
"I'm glad it turned out not to be a person," Inada Hiroaki, the police chief, told The Associated Press.
"We were all relieved," Yoshihide Saito, the head of the kindergarten, told a Japanese broadcaster.
The children reportedly laughed out loud at the weasels in the video.
We didn't find any stolen slippers, but the rest of them are currently kept safe by netting in kindergarten.
