The People's Power said it respects the judiciary's judgment when Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, was acquitted in the first trial of perjury, but public doubts have still not been resolved.

CEO Han Dong-hoon posted on SNS, saying, "Only those who perjured are guilty and those who taught perjured are not guilty."

However, just as he respected Lee's conviction in the first trial of the Public Official Election Act on the 15th, he said he respects today's ruling and demanded that the Democratic Party respect it.

Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho also expressed his position in writing, saying, "We respect the judiciary's judgment, but we still have regrets."

Kwak Kyu-taek, a senior spokesman, said in a commentary that the court admitted the perjury, but the background and circumstances were not revealed, pointing out that there is a good chance that other conclusions will be made at the appeal trial and that the first trial ruling does not exempt them from political and moral responsibility.
