Arisel denies '23 deaths' violation of serious disaster law

Representative Park Soon-kwan, who was arrested and charged in connection with the fire at the Arisel plant where 23 workers died, denied the charges of violating the Serious Accident Punishment Act, saying he was only a representative on the register.

Today (25th) about 20 bereaved families of the victims attended the trial.

Representative Park and others did not appear in court because there was no obligation for the defendant to attend the trial preparation date.
