Prosecutors summon those involved in 'suspected intervention in the nomination' such as Myung Tae-kyun and Kang Hye-kyung

The prosecution, which is investigating the "suspected involvement in the nomination," summoned Myung Tae-kyun and other people involved.

The Changwon District Prosecutors' Office investigated them from the morning of today (25th).

After an eight-and-a-half-hour investigation, Myung's lawyer said the investigation was conducted in connection with the violation of the Political Fund Act and that he denies the allegations.

Kang Hye-kyung attended the prosecution hearing and said that politicians mentioned in the media do not know Myung and "cut the tail," and I hope he admits it.

Regarding the suspicion of Oh Se-hoon's opinion poll, he claimed that he did not directly request it, but that he understood the report was reported.

The prosecution also called in preliminary candidates for the 2022 local elections in Yeongnam.

The prospective candidate did not answer questions from reporters asking who asked for the money.

The prosecution plans to call Myung back tomorrow afternoon (26th) to investigate.
