The French daily Le Monde said in February this year that Europe's dispatch of troops to Ukraine, raised by French President Emmanuel Macron, is reviving.
At the same time, a British military source said Britain and France were discussing defence cooperation and aimed to create a key alliance group in Europe focused on Ukraine and European security in particular.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barro, who recently visited Britain, also said no red lines should be set on Ukraine aid issues and that he was not ruling out any options.
Neither the Elysee Palace nor France's defence ministry officially approves sending troops or civilian personnel, Le Monde said, but is discussing ways to use the French defence company.
