Mid-term Ministry to launch TF dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized businesses in preparation for 'Second Trump'

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups launched a dedicated task force to understand the impact of the launch of the second Trump administration on small and medium-sized companies in Korea and to come up with countermeasures.

TF will be operated as a public-private joint organization in which public institutions and SMEs, including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, participate together with the head of the SME policy office.

Vice Minister of SMEs and Startups Kim Sung-seop, who presided over the first TF meeting today, said that the second Trump administration is expected to strengthen new protectionism and that he will come up with support measures to minimize the impact by checking the impact of related SMEs.
