Public Transport Workers' Union "Starting a strike on the 5th and 6th of next month."

More than 70,000 railway, subway, and education officials predicted a strike early next month.

Four unions affiliated with the public transport union, including the railway union, the Seoul Transportation Corporation union, the Seoul Metro Line 9 branch and the education and public affairs headquarters, held a press conference in front of the presidential office in Yongsan today (26th) and announced the strike plan.

They explained that the railway union will begin an indefinite strike on the 5th of next month and other unions will go on strike the following day.

He also argued that President Yoon Suk Yeol, who provided the cause of the strike, should step down without delay, saying he planned a strike to protect the lives and safety of the people and to win the elimination of discrimination.

He added that the Korea Cargo Solidarity Headquarters is also preparing a warning strike for two days from the 2nd of next month to re-legislate the safety freight system.
