With the Biden administration rushing to subsidize semiconductor-producing investment companies in the United States, Trump has said it could be reviewed.
There is a concern that the business of Korean companies such as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, which invested in the U.S. in anticipation of subsidies, will be severely disrupted.

The Biden administration has said that Trump's side can review subsidies paid to companies to foster the semiconductor industry in the United States.
Vivek Ramaswamy pointed out that the Biden administration is speeding up subsidies before Trump's takeover of the regime and is highly inappropriate.
Ramaswamy is the one who took the heavy responsibility of leading the 'Government Efficiency Department' with Tesla CEO Elon Musk in the Trump administration.
Trump also strongly criticized the semiconductor law during the presidential election.
[Donald Trump / Former U.S. President (Oct. 28): (Biden's) semiconductor deal is very bad. It's spent billions of dollars trying to get rich companies to come to the United States. They won't give us a good company anyway. All we have to do is put tariffs on it.]
The Biden administration is finalizing agreements with grant-winners to prevent Trump from reversing industrial policies such as the Semiconductor Act and the IRA, or Inflation Reduction Act, and is speeding up the implementation of related budgets.
[Joe Biden / U.S. President: Trump and Republicans are trying to repeal semiconductor laws. But this law has already been signed, and I've worked really hard to get it done. I wrote the bill myself.
The Biden administration has announced up to $7.866 billion in payments to Intel, and is reportedly in talks with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, which have yet to receive subsidies.
If Trump cancels the contract and takes measures to redeem it by taking issue with subsidies from the Biden administration, it is feared that the business of Korean companies that have invested in the U.S. in anticipation of subsidies will be severely disrupted.
