According to the Bank of Korea's "Corporate Economic Survey Results" released today (27th), the manufacturing business sentiment index this month is 90.6, down 2p from last month.
The figure is the lowest in 13 months since 90.5 in October last year.
In terms of the drop, it was the largest since -2.9p in August.
The Bank of Korea analyzed that this is due to growing concerns over a decline in exports of mobile phone parts producers amid continued differentiation by semiconductor industry.
It also explained that the sentiment of automobiles worsened due to the strike by parts makers, reduced production, and intensified competition.
This reflects some of the uncertainties and concerns over slowing exports after the U.S. presidential election.
