Today's accident happened around 6:40 a.m., when it snowed for a long time.

The vehicle slipped on the snow, and a 25-ton truck and a passenger car that followed crashed one after another.

A person in his 80s was taken into cardiac arrest, but died, and six people were taken to the hospital.

Earlier this morning, a six-car crash occurred on the Guri Pocheon Expressway leading to the third round.

Until this morning, more than 40 reports of heavy snow damage, including tree falls, were received in Gangwon Province and northern Gyeonggi Province alone.

In addition, 67 national park trails in Gangwon Province, including Seoraksan, Chiaksan, and Odaesan, were also restricted.
