Hallasan's special snow report...some mountain road control

A heavy snow warning has been issued for Hallasan Mountain in Jeju, and some mountain road vehicles have been blocked.

As snow piled up on Hallasan Mountain and roads froze, 1,100 roads were completely closed, and on the May 16th road, small vehicles can only operate with winter gear.

Strong wind warnings have also been in effect across the region, with strong winds of around 10 meters per second.

The special wind and waves warning has also been in effect at sea, disrupting passenger ships to and from Jeju and other regions.

More than 10 flights have been canceled due to inclement weather in other regions such as Gimpo and Wonju, and more than 60 flights have been delayed.
