The prosecution has decided not to ask Kim Jung-sook, a reference person, to appear additionally in connection with the alleged bribery of former President Moon Jae In.

The investigation into the other suspects has been virtually completed, so attention is now being paid to whether or not former President Moon Jae In will be investigated, the schedule, and the method.

Reporter Kim Min-sung's report.

First lady Kim Jung-sook, who refused the Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office's request to investigate a reference through her lawyer.

In the end, the prosecution decided that it became difficult to investigate Kim.

Earlier, her daughter, Moon Da-hye, insisted on a written investigation, so the investigation was canceled, and her former son-in-law, Seo, did not open her mouth even after attending several times.

Former government Cheong Wa Dae aides seem to be avoiding the reference investigation in a similar way.

The prosecution, however, said it understands the reality quite a lot with objective evidence, adding that there is no obstacle to the investigation.

Now the remaining step is to investigate former President Moon Jae In.This is because former President

Moon is a suspect, so it is possible to forcibly investigate him, and the investigation of three out of four suspects in the case has already been completed.

The prosecution did not consider a written investigation from the beginning because it was necessary to investigate Moon Da-hye or Kim Jung-sook by presenting confiscation.

Therefore, if we investigate former President Moon, we will choose a face-to-face method rather than a written one.

It can be summoned to the Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office, but due to the political burden, the possibility of conducting a business trip investigation, a visit investigation, or a telephone investigation cannot be ruled out.

A prosecution official refrained from making any specific comments, saying, "There is no fixed investigation, schedule, or method."

Prosecutors have been investigating Moon's former son-in-law, who has no experience in the aviation industry, for nearly three years, suspecting that the 200 million won, including the salary he received after being hired as an executive at Thai Star Jet owned by Lee Sang-jik, was actually a bribe to Moon.
