The "Game and Immersive Youth Humanities Healing Program," jointly developed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Culture and Arts Commission, and the Game Culture Foundation, will be distributed nationwide from March 2025 after verifying its effectiveness.

This program is the result of researching and verifying healing measures based on humanities approaches to solve the problems of adolescents' game and immersion and emotional difficulties. The study was conducted on 20 adolescents aged 11 to 15 from May to November 2024, and the effectiveness was evaluated in a scientific way that measures brain activity in real time in cooperation with Chung-Ang University Hospital.

As a result, positive changes were confirmed, with the level of immersion in games decreasing by an average of 23.7% and depression and anxiety decreasing by 30.2% and 12.6%, respectively. ADHD symptoms also decreased by 24.6%, proving the effectiveness of the program.

The Game Culture Foundation plans to expand and distribute the program nationwide from 2025, and related inquiries can be made through the representative phone of the Game Culture Foundation.
