Ukraine's capital Kyiv has been hit by a Russian drone strike, injuring three people, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
Klitschko said on Telegram that debris from a drone destroyed over Kyiv early today (27th) local time fell into the Kyiv Dniprowski district, damaging some buildings.
The building was not residential, but three people were injured during the raid, two of whom are being treated in hospitals, he added.
Ukraine's military said Russia fired 89 drones at Ukraine in a single day from the previous day, and shot down 36 of them.
It is the first time in nine days that Russia has conducted a large-scale drone strike targeting Kyiv and other countries since the 18th.
