Residents are suffering from a series of power outages in Yongin and Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, which are believed to be caused by heavy snow.

According to KEPCO, a power outage occurred at 2:40 a.m. today (28th) in Nae-ri, Bongdam-eup, Hwaseong-si, and at 4:20 a.m. in Hongbeom-ri, Sinseo-myeon, and restoration work is underway.

In Seocheon-dong, Giheung-gu, Yongin, a power outage occurred in two apartments at around 7 a.m., causing inconvenience to residents of 1,200 households.

A KEPCO official said, "There are some places where power outages occurred due to problems with utility poles or wires due to heavy snowfall," adding, "We are having difficulty recovering due to limited access to manpower and equipment due to heavy snowfall."
