Prosecutors investigating the "suspected nomination intervention" have been searching for the People's Power Party for two days, and People's Power said it was actively cooperating, saying that the nomination was transparent according to procedures and standards.

Rep. Kim Sang-wook met with reporters at the party's headquarters, where the search and seizure are being carried out, and said that confirmation of the party's organizing bureau is being made following yesterday.

The prosecution then said it was checking whether there were messages or other related materials exchanged between Lee Joon-seok, the leader of the party at the time, and the floor and outside lawmakers who were in charge of managing the nomination.

However, as time has passed, there are many data that are not available, and he explained that he is responding to the remaining data as much as possible, and that he will cooperate with the prosecution as much as possible with the necessary data in the future.
