The Democratic Party of Korea criticized the prosecution's collective opposition to the prosecutor's impeachment as a denial and challenge to the National Assembly, a political act that violates the Constitution and laws, and a collective act.

The party's Judicial Justice Realization and Prosecution Dictatorship Committee held a press conference at the National Assembly and pointed out that the collective backlash cannot happen unless the prosecution has reached the point of being complacent.

The National Public Service Act then prohibits political and collective actions of public officials, and the Prosecutor General urged them to investigate and discipline them immediately for violating the Constitution and laws.

Earlier, the Democratic Party of Korea decided to report to the plenary session on the 2nd of next month the impeachment of three prosecutors, including Lee Chang-soo, the chief prosecutor of the District Prosecutors' Office, who disposed of Kim Gun-hee, who is suspected of being involved in stock price manipulation, and to vote on the 4th.
