It's frozen all over the road today, so there are probably many people who use public transportation to get off work.

I'm connecting with a reporter on the scene about the subway situation on the way home from work. Reporter Facial expression!

It's already crowded.

As it is time to get off work in earnest, many citizens are on their way home from work.Every time the

subway stops, it is filled with citizens who change lines 1 and 2 and almost have no time to step. The

subway safety personnel are also coming out earlier than usual to help citizens pass through.

I've heard the stories of citizens heading home from here three hours ago.

Most of them thought it would be faster to leave their own cars and use public transportation, so they left the car and said they came out early to avoid rush hour.

Let's hear the citizen's story firsthand.

[Hwang Tae-young / Nowon-gu, Seoul: I came out about an hour earlier than usual. The snow piled up a lot....]

[Lee Joo-hyun / Guro-gu, Seoul: It's slippery because it snows a lot, and I left a little early because the train might be delayed just in case.]

Have you increased the number of flights on public transportation than usual?

As many citizens use public transportation, more cars are operated than usual.

In order to help people get off work smoothly, Korail said it will run 10 more subway trains in the Seoul metropolitan area, including Line 1 and Gyeongui Jungang Line.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has lowered the emergency response level of the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters to one level from 11 a.m. today and Gyeonggi Province to 1 p.m. today.

However, as there are a series of reports of damage caused by heavy snow, they said they will start snow removal from evening to night in preparation for emergency situations.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said it plans to deploy 6,000 personnel and 1,190 snow removal equipment to respond initially to prevent any inconvenience to citizens on their way home from work.

He also said that it would be better to use public transportation as much as possible on the way to and from work as snow is expected to continue overnight.

He also added that when driving, ensure enough safety distance to be careful of slipping due to road freezing.

So far, I'm YTN's facial expression Woo at Sindorim Station in Seoul Subway.
