At around 5:40 p.m. today (28th) at Uiwang Station in Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi-do, the train on the Gyeongbu line stopped due to a breakdown.
No one was injured, but the upper line of Uiwang Station passed non-stop for nearly two hours, and all 500 passengers got off and suffered inconvenience in moving to a follow-up train.
Korail said it is currently investigating the cause of the failure.
