Actor Yoo Ah-in, who was sentenced to one year in prison in the first trial for habitual drug administration, will hold an appeal trial next month.

The Seoul High Court decided to hold an appeal hearing on the 24th of next month for Yoo, who was indicted on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

In the final trial, the prosecution's sentence and the defendant's final statement are made.

In general, the sentencing date is set about a month after the final trial, so the second trial is expected to come out as early as next year.

Yoo was put on trial in October last year on charges of habitually administering medical propofol 181 times under the guise of sleep anesthesia of cosmetic procedures at hospitals in Seoul from September 2020 to March 2022.

The first trial convicted most of Yoo's charges, sentenced him to one year in prison and arrested him in court.
