Two medical organizations participating in the Yeouido Council, which deals with resolving legislative conflicts, will discuss whether to continue participating in the council today (29th).

The Korean Medical Association will discuss and decide whether to continue to participate in the Yeouido Council at an executive meeting this morning (29th).

The Korean Medical University and Medical Graduate Association will also hold a meeting today (29th) to collect opinions from deans on whether to continue the Yeouido Council.

An official from the Korean Medical Association said, "We participated in the consultative body despite criticism from the medical community, but Han Dong-hoon, the representative of the People's Power, even supported the establishment of the Gyeongbuk National Medical University without attending, and pointed out that it is only a best man in the political world."

He then explained that there is a strong atmosphere within the medical society that the consultative body should come out, and that the decision will be made after collecting executive opinions.

Earlier, the emergency committee of the Korean Medical Association officially asked the two organizations to withdraw from the consultative body, saying that the Yeouido consultative body was only for alibi purposes.
