It's a Moon Credit dye sold online.
When the Korea Consumer Agency investigated the safety of 24 products, 21 products, or 87%, found harmful substances exceeding domestic and international standards.
It is a dye used for eyebrow and scalp tattoos.
Arsenic and benzo-a-pyrene, designated as first-class carcinogens by the International Cancer Institute under the World Health Organization, have been detected.
Nine out of 10 semi-sentence credit dyes, such as eyebrows and lips, have been identified as nickel, which is classified as a substance capable of human cancer and is prohibited from containing it.
In some products, heavy metal components such as zinc and copper, which can cause headaches or dermatitis when overexposed, exceeded the standard.
Products containing substances regulated by the European Union accounted for 33% of the total because they can irritate the eyes or skin.
[Han Sung-joon / Product safety team leader of the Korea Consumer Agency Safety Monitoring Bureau: Eight out of 24 products were found to contain benzyl isothiazolinone (BIT), methyl isothiazolinone (MIT), and 2-phenoxyethanol in excess of EU standards]
When both domestic and foreign standards are applied, there are three products that have passed safety inspections: "New Imperial," "NANO," and "Titan," all of which are domestic products.
The Korea Consumer Agency recommended businesses that import or manufacture products with harmful substances to stop selling or improve quality.
In addition, we plan to ask the Ministry of Environment to strengthen safety standards as Moon Shin-yong dyes are directly injected into the dermis of the skin.
