Israeli forces struck a Hezbollah facility in southern Lebanon a day after a cease-fire came into force with pro-Iranian militant Hezbollah.

The Israeli military said in a statement on the 28th local time that "terrorist activity was confirmed at Hezbollah's medium-range rocket storage facility in southern Lebanon, and the facility was attacked with fighter jets."

"Israeli forces are still stationed in southern Lebanon, taking action against violations of the ceasefire agreement," it added.

The Israeli military imposed a nightly curfew on Lebanon's south of the Litany River for the second day following the previous day.

"From 5 p.m. on the 28th to 7 a.m. on the 29th, travel south of the Ritani River is strictly prohibited," the Israeli military said.
