North Korean leader Kim Jong-un met with Russian Defense Minister Bellowsov, who visited North Korea yesterday.
At the meeting, Chairman Kim once again said, "North Korea will continue to support the Russian Federation's policy of defending its territorial integrity."
In addition, the U.S. and the West's provision of long-range strike weapons to Ukraine was a "direct military intervention in the Russian territorial dispute" and Russia's response was a "exercise of self-defense."
North Korean media reported that Chairman Kim and Minister Bellowsov had a satisfactory agreement.
With the war in Ukraine entering a new phase ahead of the launch of the Trump administration in the United States, there is a possibility that additional North Korean troops and weapons support and Russia's provision of military technology or resources to the North in return have been discussed.

President Zelensky made a statement to the effect that if NATO membership is approved, a ceasefire can be negotiated even if Russia does not immediately find the territory it has occupied?

In an interview with British media on the 29th local time, President Zelensky repeatedly said that Ukraine's accession to NATO is the only solution to prevent the overheating of the war.
It said that if NATO membership is approved, the territory of Russia-occupied Ukraine could be recovered by diplomatic means.
The comments came in response to a question about reports that U.S. President-elect Trump's plans to end the war include Ukraine joining NATO and Russia's territories occupied so far.
It is the first time since the start of the war that Russia has hinted at a possible ceasefire negotiations while occupying parts of Ukraine's territory, the outlet said.
He also interpreted that President Zelenskyy seemed to accept that Russia's occupied territory in eastern Ukraine could be excluded from the ceasefire negotiations for now.
Recently, Ukraine has emphasized that NATO membership should be achieved as soon as possible.
It seems to be based on the judgment that it is difficult to turn the tide with current troops and weapons.
NATO members are positive in principle about Ukraine's accession to NATO, but have not taken any concrete steps out of fear of escalating conflict with Russia.
In an interview, President Zelensky also expressed his desire to communicate directly with President-elect Trump.
He said that various opinions around President-elect Trump could get in the way, and that he wanted to listen to and communicate with Trump in person and find a new model.
