The Ministry of Education promotes the establishment of a 'medical power' dedicated to medical school-related affairs.

The Ministry of Education is pushing for the establishment of a so-called "medical power," an organization dedicated to medical school-related tasks.

An official from the Ministry of Education said, "We need an organization to continuously carry out work related to the increase of medical schools and policies to improve educational conditions, and we are in talks with the Ministry of Public Administration and Security to reorganize the organization."

Currently, the Human Resources Policy Office is in charge of medical school-related tasks within the Ministry of Education, but the burden of work has increased as the parliamentary conflict has continued for 10 months.

An official from the Ministry of Education, however, stressed that the establishment of a new medical powerhouse is under discussion and nothing has been decided yet.
